Hobson Wood Foundation
The passion behind the Hobson Wood Foundation, a 501(c)(3), is the belief that we are called to use our talents, skills, passions, and resources to make a positive difference in the region we serve.
We are but stewards of God’s resources. Through purposeful funding, the Hobson Wood Foundation demonstrates accountability and effectiveness.
To give in such a way as to inspire others to succeed.
“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.”
Areas of Giving
We give to 501(c)(3) organizations. All grants are specific to youth programs that address the following:
- Basic needs
- Arts & culture
- Social services
Donor Advised Fund
The opioid crisis has had a severe impact on East Tennessee, and it is for this reason that we established the Substance Abuse Fund for Education (SAFE). SAFE is a donor-advised fund administered under the guidance of the Hobson Wood Foundation. SAFE is housed at the East Tennessee Foundation.
For more information on SAFE, please contact the East Tennessee Foundation – Misty Parker by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone toll-free at (877) 524-1223, locally at (865) 524-1223, or fax at (865) 637-6039.
